With its fast, innovative 98 laser lines mode, the FreeScan Trio is the first SHINING 3D laser 3D scanner that works without markers. Less preparation, more efficiency.
The three additional laser scanning modes of the FreeScan Trio deliver the highest accuracy, each reaching 0.02 mm (when using markers). This metrology instrument also features built-in photogrammetry, delivering an impressive volumetric accuracy of up to 0.02 mm + 0.015 mm/m.
Whether you need speed or accuracy on objects of different sizes, the versatile FreeScan Trio suits all of your projects.
What matters?
Markerless operation
With its 98 laser lines, the FreeScan Trio can capture data without placing markers on the object and without external tracking devices. It is the first and, to date, the only instrument in the laser segment on the market with these capabilities
Precision-grade accuracy
For quality control, geometry inspection and reverse engineering, the TRIO's 0.02 mm accuracy (with markers) and high performance deliver results you can rely on, with maximum repeatability.
Multiple scanning modes
In addition to the 98 laser lines mode, the FreeScan Trio offers a single laser line mode, a mode with 7 parallel lines, and a mode with 26 crossed lines. These modes can be used across a wide range of projects in many different industries, giving the scanner the versatility that is now familiar across all SHINING 3D products.
When markers are used, all of these modes achieve accuracy of up to 0.02 mm and volumetric accuracy of up to 0.02 mm + 0.015 mm/m. The FreeScan Trio's three 5-megapixel industrial-grade cameras capture the finest details of an object with a minimum point spacing of down to 0.01 mm.
Photogrammetry
The FreeScan Trio also features a photogrammetry mode that works with the convenient SHINING 3D magnetic scale bar, eliminating the need for additional coded targets. This mode improves volumetric accuracy to 0.02 mm + 0.015 mm/m.
Universal data
Fully compatible with popular inspection and reverse engineering software. Scan data can be imported into all major 3D inspection and design programs, such as Polyworks Inspector, Geomagic Control X, Geomagic Design X and others
Adaptability to object material
Supports quality scanning of any surface, including black and highly reflective materials, without prior scanning spray
