About
What and why
With handheld metrology scanners from Scantech, Shining 3D and Exametra we capture the geometry of parts and assemblies right on the shop floor, with no need to move them to a lab. For large objects we add photogrammetry, which reduces accumulated error.
The result is a point cloud and a polygon model for reverse engineering, or a colour deviation map against the CAD model for inspection.
