Wireless speed and accuracy for large objects
KSCAN-X is an intelligent wireless large-area 3D scanner built on SCANTECH's advanced wireless technology and adaptive photogrammetry, setting a new standard for large-scale 3D measurement.
KSCAN-X is the first wireless industrial 3D scanner to combine unrestricted mobility with measurement accuracy of up to 0.075 mm. Unlike competing products, it operates standalone thanks to its built-in data processing and dual batteries, giving you freedom of movement across the shop floor. The 4 blue laser cross lines technology covers an area of up to 2.6 × 1.8 m in a single pass, 3 times more efficient than comparable solutions. Adaptive photogrammetry and an extended depth of field (0.3–2.5 m) make KSCAN-X indispensable for quality control, for example in the aerospace and shipbuilding industries.
Dual batteries and a built-in processor provide 4+ hours of standalone operation without a PC connection
6.45 million measurements per second — enough to scan an object the size of a railway car
Accuracy of 0.075 mm + 0.010 mm/m, verified to VDI/VDE 2634 Part 3
4 operating modes for any task: from small parts to objects up to 15 meters long
Scanology KSCAN-X represents a revolutionary approach to industrial 3D scanning. The scanner is built on ScanTech's proprietary algorithms and combines advanced technologies to handle the most demanding measurement tasks.
KSCAN-X is designed for real production environments. Its ergonomic design reduces operator fatigue during long scanning sessions. The built-in 5-inch full-color touchscreen lets you monitor the process without any external devices, and the intuitive software with customizable prompts cuts training time to 1 hour.
The scanner features patented 4 blue laser cross lines technology, delivering maximum detail even on complex surfaces.
For ultra-fast coverage of large areas
An optimal balance of speed and detail
For measuring hard-to-reach internal surfaces
The adaptive photogrammetry system automatically compensates for movement of the scanner and the object, maintaining stable accuracy even on large parts.
KSCAN-X uses True Wireless technology with Wi-Fi 6 and dual network adapters for uninterrupted data transfer. The built-in processor handles data in real time, and two removable batteries provide more than 4 hours of continuous operation. The system supports hot-swapping of batteries without interrupting the scan.
The scanner is built for demanding production environments: operating temperature range of -10°C to +40°C, IP50 dust protection, and resistance to vibration and lighting changes. All components have been certified to international standards, including ISO 17025.
Geometry inspection of fuselages, wings and large assemblies with the accuracy required for certification.
Scanning of ship hulls, sections and interior spaces with no size limitations.
Measurement of railcars, locomotives and infrastructure objects right on the production line.
Quality control of large parts and assemblies in a shop-floor environment.
Comparison of actual dimensions with the CAD model, deviation detection and report generation.
Creating accurate digital copies of existing objects for upgrades and reproduction.
Building accurate 3D models of industrial objects and parts.
Real-time verification of correct assembly of large structures and units.
