A professional tool for automated quality control and robotic measurement cells.
Two scanning zones, controlled automatically. Each camera pair is tuned to its own measurement volume. Switching between them is done in software, with no manual adjustment.
A high-precision 3D scanner made in Russia. The most accurate scanner in the RangeVision lineup, currently being entered in the Russian Register of Measuring Instruments and the Register of Russian Radio-Electronic Products.
Works as a stationary unit and as part of robotic cells. The frame construction keeps it from losing calibration during robot movements. It can be mounted on standard industrial robot flanges per ISO 9409-1.
Scans objects from 1 cm to 1 m in size

Seamless control of two measurement zones
Each of the two camera pairs is tuned to its own volume. The scanning zone is changed in software only, within a single cycle. Manual reconfiguration, optics replacement or physical contact with the scanner is not needed, so the robot never interrupts its cycle.
Metrological and mechanical stability
The optical unit and internal structure of the scanner are designed to withstand the inertial loads and vibrations produced by the dynamic motion of the manipulator.
Versatile mounting and integration
The scanner has an interface for standard robot and cobot flanges (ISO 9409-1), so no adapters are needed. An API is available on request for integration into production control systems.
Robotic system based on the Proton 3D scanner
RangeVision Proton is a ready-made, turnkey smart mobile cell that needs no dedicated industrial space or safety fencing. The system is optimized for high-speed serial or frequent routine metrological quality control right on the shop floor. It is ideal for non-contact 3D scanning of small and medium-sized parts (maximum size: a cylinder up to 400 mm in diameter and 1 m high).
No safety fencing required
Thanks to built-in feedback and sensitive control electronics, the collaborative robot stops instantly on any unexpected contact. This ensures operator safety and protects the equipment and the part being scanned. Safety cages, enclosures and laser guarding systems are not required.
No programming engineer is needed to create a scanning routine. The operator physically takes the manipulator by the head, moves the scanner to the required viewpoints around the part, and the system records those positions. The robot then replays the trajectory.
Infrastructure
The system's work table has a load capacity of up to 60 kg and a grid of mounting holes. This allows any positioning fixtures for the customer's specific parts to be mounted quickly and rigidly.
Power consumption
Our company works according to the principle of individual approach to every client. This method allows us to achieve success in problems of all levels.
Compact size and mobility
The system measures 1200 × 600 × 1350 mm (L×W×H), deliberately sized to fit a Euro pallet footprint, and has lockable wheels. It fits through any doorway and takes up little floor space.
Applications
For serial and in-line production
For fast automated quality control of small and medium-sized parts directly on the production line
Aerospace and automotive industries
For accurate scanning of complex geometry: double bends, aerodynamic surfaces, curved sections
Tooling manufacturing and repair
For reverse engineering, creating digital twins of tooling and accurately measuring wear (threads, grooves, fillet radii)
RV 3D Studio
RV 3D Studio software is designed for 3D scanning and subsequent processing of the acquired data. We do not split our software into editions or cut down its functionality. All updates and features of the software supplied with any RangeVision 3D scanner are available to the user. Our development team uses original digitization and data processing algorithms.
