A compact desktop automated 3D inspection system, designed for consistent part measurement in the workshop or laboratory

Desktop automated 3D measurement station

AM-DESK is a desktop automated 3D measurement station that takes over routine part geometry inspection, both in the laboratory and directly on the shop floor. The compact 75 kg base occupies about one square meter, sets up in 5 minutes and runs from a 110–220 V mains supply. Paired with a collaborative robot and a 3D scanner, the station automatically measures cast, plastic and stamped parts; the turntable supports up to 125 kg (model 60120).

Once measurements are complete, the station can automatically generate inspection reports by comparing the actual 3D coordinates with CAD data, which greatly improves efficiency.

Compact station for faster deployment on the shop floor

The station weighs 75 kg (Lite: 70 kg) and occupies about 1 m². It sets up in 5 minutes from a 110–220 V supply and can be moved between work areas on a mobile cart. Compatible with cobots and the Scanology range of 3D scanners

Programming and automatic calibration

Equipped with a PLC and a servo drive system, the station can perform programmable, automated measurements in combination with multiple collaborative robots. With the push of a button, it can carry out complex measurement tasks along predefined paths

CE safety for working alongside people

CE marking, emergency stop, light and sound signaling, and servo force limiting. Combined with a cobot, it provides 10-level collision detection and stops on anomalies
