Scanning a car for 3D visualization, seat covers, floor mats and a motorcycle engine: examples of using the 3DeVOK MT and MQ in the automotive industry.

Industry: Automotive industry Request: Scanning a car for reverse engineering, virtual modeling and prototyping Equipment: 3DeVOK MQ and 3DeVOK MT 3D scanners
From reverse engineering to rapid prototyping and virtual modeling, 3DeVOK 3D scanners offer fast, accurate solutions for every stage of vehicle design and inspection.
The 3DeVOK MT is equipped with a 34-line blue laser and marker-based alignment, delivering accuracy of up to 0.04 mm. With a high capture speed of 3.3 million points per second at 70 frames per second, it efficiently collects high-precision 3D data. It makes it easy to turn full-scale car scans into ready-to-use 3D models for developing 3D visualizations.
Thanks to its 34-line blue laser system, the 3DeVOK MT provides fast, accurate markerless 3D scanning, even of challenging surfaces such as red and reflective leather. It is an ideal solution for developing custom-fit covers that increase comfort and protect the seats as an add-on accessory.
A 22-line infrared laser plus infrared structured light with a dual field of view provides fast, flexible, markerless scanning of any type of surface. The infrared structured light mode is intended for high-speed scanning of large areas (coverage of up to 1100 × 1000 mm) and is ideal for easily scanning dark floor coverings.
Insensitive to metallic and reflective surfaces, the 3DeVOK MT easily captures high-precision 3D data of motorcycle engines. The resulting data can be accurately converted into CAD models for reverse engineering or used to build a comprehensive digital archive for future tasks in CAD/CAM/CAE systems.
3DeVOK, a sub-brand of SCANTECH (HANGZHOU) CO., LTD., specializes in non-metrology 3D scanners. 3DeVOK offers powerful, affordable and easy-to-use 3D scanning solutions that deliver accuracy, creativity and efficiency across a wide range of applications, from reverse engineering and cultural heritage preservation to medical innovation.
