Mobile explosion-proof laser 3D scanner
OmniSLAM™ has released two models of mobile explosion-proof laser 3D SLAM scanners: the explosion-proof, spark-safe RM with centimeter-level accuracy, and the RM+ for millimeter-accuracy modeling, offered in a total of five products. The RM and RM+ are widely used in coal mines, hazardous chemical plants and other explosive environments to capture point clouds of mine workings and shafts. The millimeter-accuracy RM+ can also generate mesh models automatically to build a digital twin platform of plant facilities and provide organic 3D drawings for the digital transformation of hazardous chemical enterprises.
Point cloud noise from 2 mm. Ultra-thin point clouds improve the accuracy of post-processing and analysis
32 channels and point cloud density of up to 250,000 points/m²
Captures up to 640,000 points/s.
IP65 protection for use even in the harshest workshop conditions
Vertical and horizontal error of down to 0.005°
Both scanners support 3DGS modeling
The RM+ ultra-thin point clouds improve the accuracy of post-processing and analysis. They make it possible to obtain cross-section data of mine workings, providing solutions for slope stability analysis and mine roadway development
Whether curved mine workings or tall vertical shafts, the RM and RM+ can capture point cloud data accurately.
Point clouds from repeated scans are stitched precisely using ground control points (GCPs), with no offsets or layering.
With the RM and RM+, the operator can use a telescopic pole to scan the mined-out area (gob area) from a safe distance
The RM+ supports mesh model creation on a computer. This simplifies backfill analysis, simulation analysis, intelligent drilling and other project applications
