Important news for industrial companies in Kazakhstan: FARO portable coordinate measuring machines have received measuring instrument type approval and have been entered in the state register.

EXAMETRA is the official FARO distributor in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The approved type includes the current models of FARO portable CMMs: Quantum X, Quantum Max and Gage Max.

Name of the measuring instrument: portable coordinate measuring machines. Type designation: FARO series. The equipment is authorized for placing on the market in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

All 7 series and 56 variants of FARO portable measuring arms have received measuring instrument type approval, including:

• Quantum X.S - accuracy from ±0.023 mm, 7 axes
• Quantum X.M - accuracy from ±0.024 mm, 6 axes
• Quantum X.E - accuracy from ±0.036 mm, 7 axes

The seven-axis variants come with touch probes and can be equipped with FAROBlu xR, xP and xS laser line probes.
